Catalonia's life and health sciences ecosystem has an important cluster in the Girona area, with a growing representation among the members of CataloniaBio & HealthTech. In order to highlight this fact and give it visibility, CataloniaBio & HealthTech is collaborating with the promoters of Girona Talent and is organising a conference to debate, with experts and members of the entire value chain, the opportunities and challenges of the health ecosystem in Girona, as part of the week's events. The sessions will take place on Thursday 12 June at La Farinera Teixidor.

The morning sessions focus on the challenges and opportunities of the health ecosystem in Girona, and the debate is divided into two round tables. The first, focusing on one of the most topical issues, will discuss the present and future of AI in the field of health, with representatives from digital start-ups, the administration and the public health system, research centres and technology centres. The second panel will analyse the Girona Health Campus as a key project for the sector, with industry representatives and the experience of other health campuses in the region.

The programme continues in the afternoon with the tenth edition of the Hospital Connection: "Unresolved clinical needs: the vision of ICS Girona and Institut d'Assistència Sanitària”, starting at 15h.
