CMG MedDev, a consulting company specialising in regulatory affairs, quality management and clinical consulting for medical devices, in vitro diagnostics and solutions based on software and artificial intelligence, and a member of Catalonia.health, has been awarded the 2025 Cum Laude Award for Innovation in Regulatory Consulting for Medical Devices. The award, granted by the Atresmedia Group and Grupo Planeta through the newspaper La Razón, was presented on 17 December 2025 at a ceremony held at the newspaper’s headquarters in Madrid, attended by professionals from the sector and representatives of the recognised companies.
The Cum Laude Awards recognise excellence as a commitment to ethics and continuous improvement in the field of medicine and its supporting services, including specialised consulting. The award received by CMG MedDev highlights the company’s track record and rigour in regulatory consulting, supporting manufacturers and organisations in successfully bringing innovative products to market.
Upon receiving the award, Carmen Martín, CEO of CMG MedDev, emphasised that this recognition reflects the team’s effort, quality and rigour, as well as its commitment to innovation-driven projects. She particularly highlighted the company’s work with products that integrate artificial intelligence and personalised medicine approaches, as well as its collaboration with manufacturers of all sizes and with hubs and accelerators at early project stages, including pilot studies to define quality criteria within European data spaces for algorithm- and AI-based products.
